![]() I've applied the latest Multi-Core Patches. Also notice that exploiting a multicore is not as simple as activating a pair of flags and recompiling, the entire game engine must be written to use a multicore by separating major game in functions in different threads as such enabling multicore usage in X3 would mean rewriting the entire engine from scratch which is of course impossible. ![]() Having a multicore is not a valid reason for that performance so the problem is not there. Just hoping to give Egosoft an added incentive to release a Multi Core Patch or version of the game. I can't even take on a small cluster in an M3 due to the constant pauses/ skipping of frames / lagging. I really want to play this game that I bought early last year but it's too frustrating when I'm only getting 8FPS.ĨFPS on an AMD Athlon X2 4400 with 2GB of Corsair XMS CL2 RAM and an XFX 7800 GTX is unbearable. If this wasn't possible without the Steam engine then I would happily pay for a new version of X3 that was Multi Threaded. ![]() Afterburnerz wrote:I would happily pay for a Multi Core Patch for X3.
